A Sweetly 18 Birthday Trip

Well I'm back! Yes so soon!. :D

I thought I'd share some of the fun from my party on Saturday. First of all we went down to my little two street old town and ate supper at our one quaint little restraunt. (It's new and I've fallen in love with it!!)

that last one has my best friend "Lady weaver" over at "Eating cultures" in it.

From there, it was near dusk, and we decided to take a walk around town. After a few blocks we came to this adorable little graveyard. Most of the dates on it were from the late 1800's! (Though there is one other in town from the 1700's)

Also if you read the street sign it says. "Graveyard Alley".... "One way" hehe :D

After that we went to the end of the lane, where there is a lovely little pale blue inn that it is reported that Andrew Jackson once stayed in!

on the other side of the lane is the 1700's graveyard. in it were several stone benches and twisted tress that we chose to take advantage of.

On spur of the moment, I went home with Lady Weaver and her sister and went to church with them the next morning. After which I proceeded to My Aunt's and Grandparents' for a little get together for my and my cousin's birthday. Katelynne is now 10, which is extremely hard to contemplate. :D

The dress I wore was a gift from a friend of my parents a few weeks ago. It's my first vintage dress! (by the by.. can anyone date it?? it has snaps up the side)

I then spent a night at my aunt's, where I proceeded to leave my thread for my vest. But! I did manage to get the material for my Biltmore dresses! I started on them so I would have something to occupy me. :D I have the underdress for mine done already!

And so until next time!

God bless!

I LOVE your vintage dress! I'm not sure of the date, but it looks 20s in style. :)

I hate the gravestone picture... I look so *erg*.... lol

SO MUCH FUN! I still think that that would be the best place to have a vintage scary movie marathon! (Make the best first date, in fact, if a guy took me there for a date I would marry him - no questions :P )

I love the first and last pic of us (and your dress! I want it!!!!!!) ^_^

I really like your vintage dress! It is so pretty! I'm no expert, but your dress looks like it is from the 1920s. Unless it is a reproduction from a later time. Does it have any tags?

Aw I love that pic Lady!!

Um no no tags sadly... That was what I checked for first. And I thought it might be 20's, but I was too new at this to be sure.

I love it though! true antique or not. It's really comfy!

1920's I am guessing.
